Week 1: Good Graphic Design

For the first week of class:

• Please read pages 6-29 in Design Elements, A Graphic Style Manual by Timothy Samara.

• Find 3 inspiring specimens of "graphic design." Make sure you pick work you admire, because we will be sharing our specimens in class next week. EMAIL me your specimens to sara@saralintner.com no later than Tuesday, Feb. 15th at 3:00 PM. I will then collect all your images and create a post on this site.

• Also, if you have any questions about this week's reading, post them in the comments as well.
